Cut through an entire platoon of dark troopers like a hot knife through butter, by himself.

Wow what a fricking ending

I said oh shite about 20 times in the last 10 minutes. The episode could have easily been a 2-hour movie. Now waiting a year is gonna suck.

I like the big buff girl and the girl from Agents of Shield, but those two female Mandos just suck (actor wise)

Awesome ending and even better teaser.

The anticipation in finding out who the Jedi would be....very pleased it was Luke and not the others predicted.

Mando had to give up Grogu, it was his mission.

But damn, it was great to see another Jedi wreck shop.

"The Book of Boba Fett"
"Coming December 2021"

Season 3 of The Mandalorian airs in December 2021. I don't see them starting a Boba show AND The Mandalorian at the same time, and Disney didn't announce a Boba show with the other shows last week.

This may mean that Season 3 of The Mandalorian will actually be about Boba too, rather than a separate series.

Luke won’t be able to train Grugo because of aging. Grugo is 50 years old and still a child. Didn’t Yoda live to 700 years old or something?

Let me get this straight. The dark saber is Mandalorian or does it give power to anyone?

Favreau and Filoni did more for Luke's character in 10 minutes than the entire sequel trilogy.

This show has brought me closest to sitting in the theater at age 10 watching Star Wars for the first time. The fact 43 years later this evokes the same wonder and joy not just from nostalgia is amazing to me.

If the rest of the Star Wars shows Disney has planned are remotely as good as this we are in for a helluva ride over the next few years.

The dark saber was created by the first Mandalorian Jedi. Whoever possesses it is the ruler of Mondalore. Like Gideon said, the saber itself doesn’t have any powers... it’s the story of how it’s obtained that gives people their power.

My only complaint would be how the saber story line was left open.

Would be pretty cool if Luke and Ahsoka cross paths

I’m guessing that is the main plot of season 3. Then reclaiming Mando and the struggle of who is the ruler.

Generally correct like Maul used it after killing Vizla and taking it.

But correct me if I am wrong but Sabine got it by defeating Gar Saxon but didn't she offer and GIVE the Darksaber to Bo-Katan. That seems to run afoul of the legend presented.
