The Mandalorian Is Mediocre at Best

When Disney marketed this with storm trooper heads on poles it made me think this would be an exciting and edgy action series. It's not. The acting has been terrible and bland. I know they're probably working with a low budget but I've seen better costumes in elementary school plays. I think they did better 20 years ago with the 8 track technology we had back then. Sorry but the lady who plays the mechanic is just a horrible actress. I suffered through the first season with optimism that they would improve things in season 2. They haven't. I can't watch this anymore. They've ruined what could have been an epic spinoff.

This will never happen in Disney. Ever. They go to great lengths to appeal to as many demographics as possible, almost to the point of insanity, which makes edgy products impossible.

Newsflash: the acting has always been bad in Star Wars. You don’t watch Star Wars for the acting. You watch it for the setting and the action.

Star Wars is a children's movie and you expected it to be some ultra gritty show? Mandalorian is fine. It's a space western and it's well made. It's not going to blow you away but it's a fun show.

The plot was starting to develop nicely at the end of the first season. These last three episodes have been very average at best.
