The long night, throwing the prince who wasn’t promised and Jon Snow destined to end the long night into the toilet bowl.
Or the last Jedi, shitting on Luke skywalker and abandoning all of the plot points set up by previous movie, going full SJW?

I wonder if Disney put a call in to Dan and Dave and forced hem to prove their willingness to emasculate and SJW in order to allow them to work in Star Wars projects in the future.

You wingy fricks whining about the Long Night are simple minded cucks. Mah (book-based) theories!

The Last Jedi is the ultimate franchise destroyer.

You seem to be just as whiny as the SJWers.

Nothing can top Star Wars.

However, I would have liked to see Jon sword fight the night king.

I originally had it as “you’re as whiny” but I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt and say “you SEEM to be just as whiny.” I obviously didn’t edit the rest of the sentence. Good catch.

Well GoT isn't ruined just yet. There's still 3 episodes left so redemption is on the table.

The first 3 episodes were devoted to the north. Now it's Cersei's turn. Let's just see what happens.

After all, Cersei said in the first episode she "had a plan" for danaerys.

Aegon defeating the Night King in a sword fight would have been easily the most predictable thing the show could have done. It would have also been the dumbest thing. The Night King already showed he has no interest in having a one on one throwdown with him on multiple occasions throughout the series, including earlier in the episode.

A sneak attack or a long distance kill was what it was going to take. There was no way they were going to win the traditional battle either, not as long as the Night King lived. Well not so much lived, as existed in non ice dust form.

And people who complain about him not being fully fleshed out, they told you how he came to be, what his goal was, and showed you what he was capable of. He wasn’t a speaking character so he wasn’t going to expand upon his character anymore. That’s part of what made the character so compelling. I don’t know why so many of you need to be spoonfed every detail. They teased what his goals were throughout past seasons. They directly told you the simple and direct answers you sought in episode 2.

Do you need to watch the fooker learn to ride a horse when he was 6 and learn to use a sword when he was 8? That’s getting into Spectre territory.

The Last Jedi easily. They can still recover from The Long Night if they do some things correctly. I see no chance of recovery for The Last Jedi. Like I have no idea where the Star Wars universe stands after that. At least I can’t say that for Game of Thrones.

I have frustrations about the Long Night. I enjoyed a lot of moments of it. Could have been more but it was still highly enjoyable television.

The lone thing I enjoyed from tLJ was the Jurassic Park chick running the ship through the bad guys. I can’t think of a single redeeming factor outside of that.

The TLJ level franchise kill would have needed something like Brienne and Arya beating the Night King in a straight fight and saying “there have been enough kings lately” just before they kill him.
