Harrelson and Costner starring will always get my attention

The Highwaymen follows the untold true story of the legendary lawmen who brought down Bonnie and Clyde. When the full force of the FBI and the latest forensic technology aren’t enough to capture the nation’s most notorious criminals, two former Texas Rangers (Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson) must rely on their gut instincts and old school skills to get the job done. The Highwaymen also stars Kathy Bates, John Carroll Lynch, and Kim Dickens.

Clicked this thread and got excited thinking this was going to a movie about Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and Kris Kristofferson.
I ended up even more excited than I was originally. This sounds pretty solid.

Netflix getting ready to drop some seriously good movies.

According to Wiki, they apparently filmed the scenes of the killing of Bonnie and Clyde near where it actually happened on Highway 154.

They filmed in and around Shreveport. My mom works for a rich older couple who actually put Woody up in their guest house, and she was able to meet him briefly. She said he seems nice but was very spaced out, about like I'd expect.

I’ve been to where the killing took place and have seen the car in person.
They made damn sure those tw were dead and there would be no chance they would survive. It was an absolute slaughter.
Big fan of the old Beatty/Dunaway/Hackman movie ... Earnie Pyle I think, or was it Denver Pyle, anyways ... he played that part perfectly.

They actually came through my home county just before they died....or should I say, murdered.
Yes, they were bank robbing criminals, but They were clearly out to kill them, not arrest them.
The actual car is down there near Ruston I believe. It's gotta have about 500 shots in it

I thought it was in some casino in Nevada. Maybe a few replicas out there.

they killed 9 police officers by account. They deserved to die the death they got. No one officer was going to try to arrest them.

From March 21 to 25, 2018, filming took place on Highway 154. Reportedly, the production was reenacting the killing of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow near where the actual event took place. To recreate the scene on what is now an asphalt two-lane highway, the film crew planted trees along the right-of-way and added dirt to cover the blacktop road

Yeah that is one long arse trailer

They were coldblooded murderers who killed multiple police officers while on the loose. The movies have romanticized them and have turned them into tragic figures of circumstance. In reality, they were two very bad people who got what they deserved in the end.

Damn I love those two together!

Must be great to sit here in 2019 and pass judgement and read the minds and know intentions of the heart of police from 80 years ago.
