It's not a great movie, but it's fun and entertaining as hell. Jackman and Efron are perfect in their roles

I love that his kids never age over the many years the movie covers and how he treats everyone like shite but they still sing songs for him.

I wouldn’t say it’s great but certainly good and entertaining, which is saying a lot because I don’t like musicals very often

We loved it.

Hard to think of a more magical and enjoyable scene than A Million Dreams in anything recently.

When my SO at the time forced me to watch it, I was expecting to loathe it. However, it's just so damn likable. It's cheesy, but effective with catchy music, great visuals, compelling characters, it literally hits all the right notes. It's just a perfectly executed musical.

It's a guilty pleasure movie for me. Some of those songs are really doggone catchy.

Jackman started his acting career in the theater. You could tell he was enjoying the hell out of himself making this move. I watch it whenever its on.

My kids love this movie to death.

I’m not big on it but I like some of the little touches in there, such as a lot of Barnum’s more famous sideshow attractions appearing in the film even if they are only extras. The Siamese twins Chang and Eng come to mind, as I only see them in the big song and dance numbers.

My daughters tried to get me to watch it for over a year and I refused. One night, one of them put it on told me “just watch this one scene”. It Was the bar scene with Jackman and Efron’s “The Other Side”. Needless to say, I was hooked after that.

From Now On - Read-Through

Another thing worth watching. The read-through for "From Now On." They talk through it at the beginning, but Hugh had a piece of skin cancer removed from his nose a day before (80 stitches). Wasn't supposed to sing for this, but couldn't help it on this song.

Love the movie, and just an overall well-casted and extremely talented group.

Wife took our daughter to see it in theaters with several other moms/daughters. They wanted to watch it at home once it was available streaming, so the whole family sat down to watch it. The youngest boy was 1 at the time and would watch whatever was on the screen, especially if there was a lot of sound and movement. My oldest boy was 6, and actually enjoyed it, and still asks to listen to the soundtrack in the car on the way to school. We listened to it this morning. Much better than what he used to ask for, which was the Captain Underpants soundtrack. I'd rather listen to Hugh Jackman and the rest of the cast sing than endure Kevin Hart and whoever the voice of the other character is make fart sounds and sing stupid songs aimed at kids. At one point, the wife and I looked up and all the kids were off playing in other rooms and it was just the two of us, but we had gotten sucked in and finished it.
