I've been watching every week. This one is going to get a longer leash than most Fox shows because the tie in to the movie properties.

Not sure about this, Sarah Connor Chronicles was getting good when they cancelled that as well.

Hell yeah. That was a cancelled show that hurt bad. I was really getting into it.

Which is a good thing. This is a good show so it will find an audience.

I agree with this. While being tied to a successful film property hasn't guaranteed a Fox show's safety in the past, I really think the Sarah Conner Chronicles was a victim of the soon to be released Terminator Salvation and the studio not wanting to mess with the "continuity" they were trying to re-establish.

Fox appears to be over that nowadays now though. Season 1 of Gotham was rough but they put effort into making changes for season 2 and now its one of their best shows.

Gifted has been good from jump, with reviews that reflect that, so I don't see it coming close to being cancelled.

Exactly. I was coming here to say that this is on the same network that mis-handled and then canceled Firefly and also cancelled Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Another good episode. Next week's looks real good with Polaris apparently starting to train the mutants to use their powers X-men style.

The end was rough with Jace not remembering his daughter was killed.

Yeah, that was pretty savage making him live through that a second time.

Just finished this weeks episode. Damn. That was rough but a solid twist in the story. If I had to re-discover my kid died I’d hate nutria too. Shits about to get intense.

Anyone catch the shout-out to Baton Rouge?

Sketch of a federal building. Did they film there and we might get some BR exterior shota in a xmen Fox show? Looks like foreshadowing to me.

Another good episode. I can't wait until we get some mutant vs mutant fighting action. I'm not sure how the Mutant Underground will be able to match up with a group of government controlled mutants that obviously have been prepped just for a war against other mutants.

And I'm surprised this show isn't getting more play on this board. This is the best comic book based show on tv right now...by far.

Heck, it's better than any of the super hero tv shows currently on the air. It's up there with Alphas.

I like that they didn't waste time in linking the Strucker family to the von Strucker name. I wonder if they will stick with the comic explanation of why they are different than regular mutants, or if they are going to go a different route.
