Just finished and I thought it was great.

Nice to see Stan Lee pop up

Did y'all notice Marcos' ringtone was the 90s X-Men animated series theme song?

The spider robots were awesome

Yep, it kind of made me want to do a rewatch of the 90s animated show.

They kind of reminded me of a scaled down version of the sentinels from The Matrix.

I thought the same thing. They also reminded me of the spiders on the PS3 game Resistance.

like the spiders from minority report. They were really cool.

Strong premiere on this one. Also loved Ghosted as a 30 minute comedy.

It's fox so hopefully one of those won't be cancelled.

All of the previews have been VERY Heroes like, so I thought it would have similarities. I need to watch it, have it recorded.

I compared the two because (iirc) that was the season where the government was going after people with powers. Aside from that, the similarities end and that's a compliment to The Gifted.

Man Silver St. Cloud from Gotham is fine. Saw Amy Acker plays the mother as well. FOX’s casting is always on point.

Fun show, was never a real big fan of X-Men but I’m a sucker for Super Hero tv shows so I’ll be watching

Bump for tonight's episode.

If tonight;s episode is as good as last week's, I'll go ahead and make this a season long thread.

Gifted is awesome, do we have a inhumans thread?

With these two shows and the new Star trek, golden age of tv is here

The premier for The Gifted was 10x better than the premier of Inhumans. Now don't get me wrong, I plan on watching both for now. But with the limited episodes we have to go off of, The Gifted looks to be the better show so far.

ETA: Don't get me wrong, I didn't dislike Inhumans as much as some on this board. But I really liked the premier of The Gifted.

Gifted was good. Didn't catch Inhumans.

Oh, and the daughter is 18.

And yet I still feel a little creepy gawking at her.

It's a good thing Amy Ackers is on there to give me something else to look at. While Amy isn't as "built", I've always had a thing for her.

That was kind of a filler episode, but I guess it did kind of build the relationship of the Strucker family with the Mutant Underground.

I liked where this show is going - definitely has a lot of potential. And the family decision making will bring up a lot of potential conflict, etc.

Not me, those ta-ta's look fierce

Not bad for a filler episode, somewhat transparent with the mom (she's the only human at the moment, so she has to bring something to the group) but I think they went a little too DC (ie: overboard on power strength) when the portals started popping up everywhere when just one causes her so much trouble while conscious.

I'm a little disappointed in Bill Compton. After his little tirade about how long he's been involved in the program he should have known they would go after his mother.

I really liked the idea of having the fear-inducing guy being their perimeter guard. I was starting to wonder wtf was going on with the mom.

Blink's power going haywire was awesome.

It was cool to see Jace mention the Mutant Liberation Front. Hope we see them

Great example of the mutants being inherently dangerous (but it isn't their fault).

This is a great series, so far. It's as if Loeb learned his lesson from Heroes and is kicking the pace into overdrive from day one.

That was a good episode. I like how they aren't just glazing over how the Strucker family is coming to terms of their new reality. The pickup posse was a little cliche, but I guess it helped drive that reality home for Kate. And that Strucker boy has got some power.

Oh, and from next week's preview, it looks like Sentinel Services has them a Haitian.
