Anyone watching the new Shotime series? 4th episode airs tomorrow and I'm surprised I haven't seen any discussion on here.

Excellent show. Not sure many people have Showtime. If this was on Netflix, I'm sure you would hear a lot more about it.

I’ve watched all three episodes and I’m in it until the end for sure. It’s not great or earth shattering but it is a pretty interesting show with some humor and drama. I’m looking forward to find out who the “Q” character is and how he fits in the show.

Bump for episode 4
Spoiler Alert:
Any of y’all just catch episode 4 and want to discuss? So we still don’t know much about who “Q” dude is except it’s implied that he used to be the top shot caller around South Chicago before going to Cuba. It appears we have a dirty cop that is involved with the dope distribution and that’s why the dirty cop is so protective of the drop house. I love Ronnie’s grandma that’s a tough woman right there. I’m still really liking this show looking forward to episode 5.

Yep I watched. Definitely becoming one of my favorite shows.

I thought after episode 3 we would see more on how all of the story lines connect but we continue to see new ones. The bearded shady cop story appears it will be interesting. What a dick! I still can't place what Q is up to or how he fits Into the neighborhood dynamic but I suspect the back half of the season revolves around his character. I just can't tell if he is a good character or a bad one with good intentions as long as they benefit him.
Love the one liners that come out of Brandon's moms boyfriend. Like that Papa took control of the kids party where they were all just starring at their phones.
My one complaint would be that I didn't like the flashbacks to Ronnie's shooting. That could have just went down in sequential order and didn't need the flashbacks.
All in all I love the show and it's hard to wait a week in the modern day of binging series. The build up will help this show and I hope it gets a second season because they can't wrap this all up in the next 6 episodes.

It's on my watch list, I really like it.
I didn't used to watch a lot of Showtime though we have had it for 15 or so years but with Chi, Shameless, Billions and Homeland they are building a solid series base for me.

Q clearly was in the game. Probably drugs. Wonder how he’ll react to the new guy running guns. Also wonder what he said at the block party.
Sucks for Brandon with his girl. Had a great scene with his brother’s killer. Also like him hanging out with his cousin
The three kids on the show are really great. Like the black version of the stranger things kids
