That one got me good. Haven’t jumped like that since the van scene in Haunting at Hill House

i might be in the minority, but these 3 episodes were kind of boring for me.

loved season 1, so hopefully it turns around.

Yes, you are definitely in the minority. First three episodes have been great so far. The whale scene was greatness.

The framing of the tv scene at the end was nice little nod to the tv watching on the couch in the comics.

I see the deep taking out stormfront..
Something about electricity and water..
But she's pretty cocky, even with homelander so lord knows what all her powers are.

Has it been hinted that Homelqnder has any weaknesses? Is there anyone in this world who might be able to defeat him? The actor that plays home lander is good at the role, it he bothers me. He looks like he has cotton balls in his cheeks almost like he’s mocking the godfather. I wonder where they are going with the deep character. Will he redeem himself by some self sacrifice later on? I also like that the ginger is walking on eggshells around Homelander (she deserves it).

If this show follows the comic’s story, you are going to have your mind blown

I LOVE the staggered *mini binge sized drops.

Awesome first 3 eps. I can't say much but the Deep is and always will be a tool.

* So, only the first 3 eps will be done this way. 8 total eps, the remaining 5 will be out one at a time, each Friday. With so few episodes, I get it. I'd have loved to get 2 - 3 at a time , but that's not happening. Oh well.

I don’t know anything about the comics but if that happens it’ll definitely be a WTF moment especially with her powers and her overall attitude. I think The Deep either wises up or he doesn’t make it through the season, which I hope doesn’t happen because I really like the character.

A slow start (I was expecting it to pick up right were S1 left off) but it was a good slow burn until the director's head exploded (didn't see that coming, that may have been this season's dolphin moment). From there we got right back on the Billy Butcher Roller Coaster of Mayhem (which is really what we all came for anyway... well that and maybe some full frontal Starlight ).

I liked the shark attacks but the whale thing was a bit too reminiscent of the dolphin, it came across to me as going back to the well once too often (except just with more gore). I fricking LOVED the dolphin scene, this one just came across to me as a weak imitation. I know part of it is to show The Deep still being a bit of a buffoon (and it does that well), I just would have liked something a bit more original (especially after we just had the HILARIOUS LSD trip with him singing a duet with his gills )

I can't help but wonder if Starlight really was going to fry Hughie or if she was going to take a chance against Homelander. The latter seems more in line with her character but she's also a bit of a pragmatist.

The scene with the old milk... damn. That was so uncomfortable to watch from multiple standpoints, at least one of which is Starr's acting ability. Without over-playing it you can just rake the "creepy" and "crazy" off of him in that scene.

I look very forward to next week!

Homelander is awesome. I thought for a minute he killed his kid simply because in this show it is possible ??

The deep never encountered the comics version of Stormfront (who is a male Nazi - as in grew up in the Third Reich Nazi). He puts the Asian in the hospital, then the Boys plus Love Sausage beat him to death.

Interestingly enough, despite being more powerful than half of the members of the Seven, Vaught American never even considers him for membership because... you know... Nazi.

Clearly the TV version have no reservations about female Stormfront being a racist POS.

Seriously, why would a whale beach itself fully, and not stay in the water to block the boat, just because Deep told him /her to ? And even so, Butcher could have just as easily gone off to one side, and the whale would still be stuck there, unable to move. It's not like it was actually blocking them from anything.

But then NOT ramming the boat into the whale.. just not Butcher's style, now is it ?

I think that's part of how they are showing The Deep as still being a bumbling toolbag. The same could be said of him not using the whale to tip over the speedboat (since he was able to get in front of them).

They likely have no idea. First 2 and three quarters episodes you have no idea she has that going on. Hell even when she zaps the dad in the apartment building, you could chalk it up to her having a little bit of superhero power “roof rage”. But when she kills Japanese Magneto, it’s like oh well, yeah she don’t like non-white folk. Could spell the end for A-Train too. Honestly, I wouldn’t miss him. His storyline is pretty much done anyways and the actor has the personality of a spoon.

Honestly, I think we're supposed to presume that she would be so vetted before being let onto the Seven that they could tell her what her exact menstrual cycle is.

They want the promotion and access that the company provides. Think of Tom Cruise without agents and management.

I guess that works but seems like if you are actual Superman, you can promote and make money yourself
