Looks like the chest symbol is a removable Batarang or weapon of some sort. The collar is a nice change for a film version.

I'm glad they're not going to waste an hour with all the bullshite of Thomas and Martha Wayne getting shot and then Bruce getting scared by a bat. That's what I like about the new Spiderman movies. They dropped all the origin crap.
Now they need to offer Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross an obscene amount of money to get them to do the score.

I have such high hopes for this. I like the chest piece. Looks more like armor and the new bat symbol is a nice change.
I’m not sold on the cowl though. All of it looks like armor except for it and it looks like a flimsy leather almost? I’m sure this might change over the course of filming and it’s a minor thing. Hell that could be the cowl he rocks in the beginning and he upgrades over the course of the film.

Pattinson needs to get a little scruff going on and he’d have the look nailed down. The Bat voice is what I need to hear too.
Will be a hell of a redemption story for him if this role fully separates himself from his teen idol past. If Wooderson can shake the romcoms and become one of the best and most respected actors in the game today, don’t see why he can’t.

Part of me wishes this could be filmed in black and white, like a true noir Batman. Then part of me doesn’t because I think it would take away from Gotham and other aspects.
