re: The Amazing Race - Season 32
The Asian couple seem like a strong team, they had better watch out for that inevitable yield.

I like the blondes, but they are a back of the pack team and probably will be gone soon.

Care to elaborate on this ?

To me, it seems the exact same as it always has been.

Edit; I hate how the teams must look directly into the camera and say “ WE CHOOSE NOT TO YIELD”

Side note : glad DeAngelo got back into the game, didn’t wanna see them exit early

It amazes me (no pun intended) that teams still forget to do things that are specifically stated in the clues, like attaching the air horns on those trucks.

I know.

Rule 1: Read the clue.
Rule 2: Stay calm.
Rule 3: Read the clue.
Rule 4: Pay attention to detail.
Rule 5: Read the clue.
Rule 6: Stay calm.
Rule 7: READ THE CLUE!

Editing was weird in the first episode with how they just appeared in Trinidad. I can't remember them not showing the teams getting to the airport, especially on the first leg.

This isn't editing, but in both legs now all the teams have been on the same flight to the next destination. Wonder if that's going to continue. It would make for a more exciting season maybe, but the scrambling for better flights has always been a fun component of the game as well.

They were split 6/4 on the flight from Trinidad to Tobago, but you're right about them skipping over the airport scrambles so far, which leads me to believe that production had already bought all of those tickets ahead of time for them.

ETA: I read somewhere that they always had to film those scenes twice, because they would by "buying" two tickets on the first flight somewhere but in reality each team has to secure 4 tickets when including the camera crew.

And a whole lot more of forgetting to read your clue.

I feel like I would have a nervous breakdown/heat stroke in these episodes set in Brazil or ones in Vietnam in past seasons

The sisters from Lafayette reinforced my dislike of them again last night. They can't be gone soon enough.

Seems like so far this season they've added some extra instructions in the Route Info cards to trip teams up. I hope that continues.

Pretty stupid of the gay couple to yield the nerds this early in the season. They weren't a threat to them at all, and other than just personal beef with them for some unknown reason, it made no sense. Now they'll have 2 teams looking to get payback, though one has already used their yield.

Those were u-turns. All teams still have their yields.

Agreed it was dumb so early in the game, but if the other teams, especially Frank & Jerry, hadn't forgotten their bags it might have worked.

That's right. They still can only use it once though, right? I haven't watched AR in several seasons.

Still would have been dumb. They were in first place and it only takes one mistake to fall to the back of the pack. I doubt it comes back to bite them, but just terrible strategy.

re: The Amazing Race - Season 32
Yeah, it definitely seemed like a move out of spite instead of strategy.

It's pretty rare to see the front running teams bother with u-turns early in the game.

Good decision by the blondes though to solidify their alliance.

When did alliances become a thing on Amazing Race? I don't like it.

It's gonna be fun to see who turns on who first, and how the others react to that team.
There are only 8 teams left, and 5 in the alliance, so it can't last too much longer.

There have been seasons with somewhat loose alliances, but it's usually just a couple of teams and hasn't been shown to be as formal as this season's. Will be interesting to see how long it holds up this season.

The melon stack and the bottle dance looked like two of the hardest challenges in a long time.
