The Terminator with khaleesi has to be the most forgettable movie of all time from a major franchise. I legit forgot it existed and that I had actually seen it until someone brought it up in a thread discussing trailers spoiling the movie.

Agree.
I also think Rise of the Machines had a lot of potential. But horrible casting, and crappy attempts at comedy completely ruined it.
T2 should've been the end of it. Since sequels were inevitable, Cameron should've been given a blank check after T2. I would've loved to have a couple of movies depicting the future war, leading up the first terminator being sent back in time, thus completing the loop. That was my hope for Salvation. It did not happen.

I'm definitely interested to see how Junkie XL amps up the score. If there's any composer who's capable of hitting the old 80's synth sound right and making it sound modern - it's him!

Nothing is really jumping out as a must see but I'll probably end up catching a matinee at some point.
I have to imagine that Arnold is playing a human in this one. Otherwise, it looks like they are stealing bits and pieces from the 3 sequels that have now been erased.

Nobody under the age of 35 has been alive to see a good a terminator movie in the theaters. The franchise name means little to them, as evidenced by the apathy the last few "Terminator" movies have been met with.
The fact it's releasing in November is also a sign they don't have very high hopes for this. They moved it to a less popular time at the box office in hopes it could do a little better without any competition.

Except the movies Superman Returns was throwing out were low budget and 20 years old. This is throwing out a movie from 4 years ago that James Cameron said was great.
