This will give The Godfather a run for its money. No doubt about it!

In all seriousness though, this looks like another mind-bending film from our boy Nolan. I'm certainly looking forward to it.

I was worried about the score when I heard Zimmer wasn't working on this, but the music in the trailer is bone chilling good.

“I need some idea of the type of threat we face.”
“As I understand it, we are trying to prevent WW3.”
“Nuclear holocaust.”
“No, something worse.”

My goodness that exchange was awesome.

Scene at the end -

"What happened here?"

"...it hasn't happened yet."

Nolan is the finest filmaker of the last 20 years, and the best since Kubric. This looks right on par with his standard of excellency

So, Inception mixed With Memento mixed with a little Matrix reloaded... I'll take it, made by Nolan. Take my fricking Imax money now.

Yeah but he doesn't have near the charisma or screen presence. Look, it's fricking Nolan, all of his characters are pretty "stiff upper lip" - esque. But I don't give a shite.

Between Top Gun 2 and Tenent, there is going to some extremely high level films released this summer.

God bless Mr Nolan. He's the last of the "event" filmmakers with originality.

This looks awesome. There is also a 6 minute prologue that is being shown with IMAX showings of TROS, and if you check out the Tenet subreddit there is probably a link there.

This will definitely have time-altering effects similar to Memento, Inception, and Interstellar. The word tenet is a palindrome which is something that is the same forwards and backwards. In the trailer you can see causal effects in reverse happening on specific things, like the car crash, or on entire scenes like the ship moving in reverse while JDW is climbing it. I could see the plot somehow working from a beginning to a climax that somehow works itself back to the beginning in some clever Nolan way.

Now we just need a trailer for Dune. I noticed Zimmer didn’t score Tenet, cause he couldn’t pass up on Dune. Definitely the top two I’m looking forward to next year.

To go from Ricky Jerret in Ballers, to BlacKkKlansman to this is pretty impressive. Looking forward to Tenet.
