I'm impressed that they're going very superheroish with the costumes. These look like real life versions of the comic designs.

The service is scheduled to start in 2018. Original shows that have been revealed so far: Teen Titans, Young Justice: Outsiders (animated), Harley Quinn (animated), and Metropolis. There are rumors of a Smallville reboot as well (with Clark becoming an actual Superboy superhero).

If it's paid service, I'll pass. As much as I'd like to watch these, I don't want to pay for individual streaming services, especially ones this specialized and specific.
I believe this is a dumb move on their part (if paid service). People cut the cord to stop paying $100/month for television. We are already paying for Netflix, Amazon and Hulu, and these offer a variety of programming from all sources of producers. If DC is trying to start their own paid streaming service, they are severely limiting their market. The smarter play would be to pair up with one of the big three and create an exclusive programming contract (ala Marvel and Netflix).

Marvel won't be putting any new series on Netflix. And it's only exclusive to those series. Marvel has The Runaways on Hulu and will be adding new series to the new Disney streaming service.
The math on this is whether you make more off of keeping 100% of a smaller audience or having a huge audience and getting a smaller piece of the pie.

It's an odd juxtaposition, with the awesome professionally shot costumes that they showed and then the characters looking like cosplayers in the set shots. I'll wait and see how it all looks together.

Same here. I really don't understand why these studio's haven't figured out that the first day that actors are in costume, you take professional shots before they set foot on set.
Then, WHEN pictures like this leak, you release your quality pictures within hours.
Has WB released an official picture of Zach Levi as Shazam yet? He said there was one months ago when the set pictures got leaked.
Professional pictures. That's all the damage control that you need.
