Don't forget putting Victoria and Peter on a date with Victoria's ex singing to them. Producers are ramping up that drama this year by just being shitty to the contestants and the bachelor. It's great.

I find it hard to believe Peter has ever been in a relationship with a woman. Every time one of the bored house vixens cooks up some Wil e coyote esque plan to manipulate him, it totally works- even if the plan directly contradicts the one that just worked on him. A real man would choose sexy as hell Louisiana Victoria and give her some spankings to clear up the fibbing issue.

that sarah chick he booted last week was a total smoke, no idea how some of these other ones survived
first time getting roped into watching this shite and....
-Pete is a God awful actor, pretending he didn't know about the ex country singer then..."wait....what the guy who was just singing?" Dude is a fricking goober. It looks like they know he's a dude and are trying to manufacture drama or maybe its always this bad, don't know
-What's with these chicks calling him their boyfriend?
-If you play a drinking time every time a girl cries, says "I'm over it", utters "here for the right reasons", or there's an aviation reference... you will be shite hammered by the end of an episode.

Nah, Louisiana girl is good to go and a diamond in the rough. I can see in her eyes she will make a man very happy while driving him a bit mad along the way. I find that sexy. However, she probably requires a firmer hand than Peter’s to get her past her small behavioral issues.

The Chase Rice thing was so dumb. Also, seems pretty obvious the instagram-model type girl who dated a country singer is probably using the show to become more attractive to celebrities instead of finding love with an airline pilot - but maybe she's really into you, Peter.

This could apply to 95% of these contestants. They are almost all in it for their 15 minutes.

Many of them trying to get as far as they can so they can become the next Bachelor/Bachelorette.
The Bachelor/Bachelorette actually gets paid by ABC (over 100K). All of their clothes are paid for as well. And...they usually are asked to be on the next Dancing with The Stars (more $$$ and fame).
Or...they want to at least make enough of an impression to be asked to go on Bachelor in Paradise (ABC pays them to go...I think like 15-20K to vacation on the beach and drink)
ETA: And knowing all this I STILL watch this show.

She maybe had 30 seconds of screen time all season. Yet he kept a few unattractive ladies around... part of me (okay a lot of me) thinks that it's production trying to maintain diversity.

It’s totally that. Production always tells the Bachelor/Bachelorette who to keep. Peter gets to tell production the ones he absolutely wants to keep and production will let him keep those but he also has to keep certain others (usually the ones causing drama....they will keep those around cause they know it’s a good story).
