Talking to a novice, tell me about the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

I love the shared universe idea, and have enjoyed Arrowverse, Stargate Franchise, among others. Would you recommend investing the time watching the movies & tv shows? I found this timeline/viewing order, agree? Thanks.

2013 was the worst year for the MCU creatively. 2014 was their best two movie year.

You can get by without watching all the TV shows between the movies, if you want to knock out all the movies. Yes, I watch the TV shows and have seen all the movies.
