This movie will bomb on a biblical scale and we'll all be racists for not supporting it.

I guess we all know what costume we'll see. And the kryptonite jokes just write themself. I'll assume instead of green glowing, it'll be red, white and blue

Christ

Truth justice and the American way isn’t for me!!!

And the dude is going to write Superman.

Honestly this might be the breaking point with a lot of people. Superman is sacred and going full woke will piss people off to no end.

What about firefighters, policemen, and first responders? He seems to really dislike them.

Sports and entertainment just keep making it easier and easier to work and play outside and get chores done.

DC hired a guy who has written controversial things about first responders, and had no experience writing comic books prior to the BP series. Again DC hired to him to make a live action movie. It’s probably going to crash and burn.

I'm not opposed to a black Superman story. It's all the other bullshite he's going to inject that will piss me off. I guess DC wants to truly emulate the comic books, by that I mean wokeism destroyed comic book sales and now they'll do it to the movies.

“There is a new, powerful and moving Superman story yet to be told. We couldn’t be more thrilled to be working with the brilliant Mr. Coates to help bring that story to the big screen, and we’re beyond thankful to the team at Warner Bros. for the opportunity,” said J.J. Abrams in the statement to S&A.

This is one of the reasons why I've slowly been pulling away from film and television. More and more I've been turning to novels and non-fiction to satisfy me in my downtime.

Will audiences be introduced to a Black Superman? That is the intent and something that the studio has been trying to find a way in for months if not a year or two, according to sources.

WB for some time has been trying to figure out how to reboot franchise with a Black Superman in lead role going as far as meeting with Michael B. Jordan to hear his pitch more then a year ago on what that would look like. MBJ not involved now but we shall see if that changes

I’m totally fine with a Black Superman, I just hope it isn’t a wokefest. I know it will be tho unfortunately.

they're also going to allow this leftist SJW trash to touch the most iconic character in all of comic book history?

I think there is the potential to tell a meaningful story from a moral and social standpoint.

Maw and Paw Kent could be sharecroppers during the time of the civil rights movement and have those events shape this Superman’s world view.

I mean, it’s not like there’s been an earth shattering Superman story since The Death of Superman.

Superman sucks as a superhero. There. I said it. I’ve never really cared foe the character outside of the Supes cartoon of the 90s. Just... so boring.

There’s a lot of truth to this. His strength and invulnerability have been overplayed.

I would love to see a story about his roots a d his humanity.

The inception of Superman was an immigrant figure whose desire was to fit into American culture as an American.

Superman is a commentary of a Jewish kid growing up in Cleveland.

Glad you did. Superman is one of the most garbage characters in any medium. Just lame all the way.
