We start out with JB turning a shot up snowmobile skid into a snow board complete with half pipe moves to take out bad guys with Beach Boys playing..

Duran Duran theme song with day glow 80s dancers and Grace Jones leading an all female team of Robert Palmer "addicted to love" hit squad.

Then we have Christopher fricking Walken as a bad guy named Zoran sporting a blonde coifed hairdo laughing manically while gunning down a bunch of innocent construction workers for no reason.

JB gets countless women drunk and takes advantage of them along with Tanya Roberts.

Then of course the main plot is to sabotage silicon valley and the climactic end scene of Walken using a blimp with a giant Zoran logo and fighting it out on top of the golden gate bridge.

I defy anyone to prove there's a better JB movie.

If I had never heard of James Bond.

And you told me that there were two dozen James Bond films.

And you showed me A View to a Kill as my first exposure to James Bond.

I would assume that there had to be much better James Bond films.

The new James Bond rarely even has sex.

Its a good one. I think Roger Moore is a bit underrated. That's when these movies were still fun. Now, not so much.

I agree with this. Probably because he was the Bond I grew up with.

I think Roger Moore is easily the worst Bond. I dont watch any Bond with him in it.

In fairness, his logic for doing that was sound.

It's an underrated Bond movie.

Yeah, I know Moore is old in A View to a Kill, but it's still a more fun and enjoyable movie than Moonraker or clown arse Octopussy. Of Moore's seven movies, I'd place AVTAK around the middle of the pack.

A rehash of Goldfinger with Roger Moore's old arse macking on Tanya Roberts is nowhere near the best Bond movie.

Okay, opinions vary. I will still watch them, no matter the Bond.

There's not "A" better Bond movie. There's a bunch of them.

Yeah but he was getting ready to head to the blimp so he couldn't risk some of the workers behind being left alive and deciding that "Hey, maybe we should get that detonator out of the ten tons of dynamite that he left behind" Which is what Bond and MayDay ended up doing because he didn't make sure they were dead.

But he also had a lot of fun doing it.

It's in the top tier of Roger Moore Bond films.....

But that isn't saying much.

It's a terrible Bond movie in the conventional sense. It is a great Bond movie for the unintentional(?) comedy and how fun it is.

I'm with you on Moore being the worst Bond. I'll still watch them because they're Bond movies. A View to a Kill might be the absolutely worst Bond film. Little known film fact, Roger was 483 years old when he made this movie.
