Haven't watched it for years, since the first all-star season.

I do. I really like that they are having a completely new cast (only the 3rd one to not have any returning players in the last 8 seasons), and I really love that they aren't doing redemption island. It will be nice to have fresh faces that haven't been on 3-4 Times and when people get voted out they stay out. Is there anything more anticlimactic than having the person going home go out at the beginning of the show rather than the end?

I have high hopes for this season because they seem to be going back to basics

God I hope so.

Maybe one day they will be in another location rather than generic tropical island.

Back to Austrailia. Those people were starving and burnt. This last show, they ate way too well. The people looked the same when they were in the game and out of the game.

Need better challenges, the games have become more mental with the puzzels to keep the weak players in and it really has made the show worse. Most of the weak physically weak players are weak in the social game as well.

Just has become crappy overall.

I'm also a Survivor fan and I got to admit I didn't know that they were going to have an all-new cast. Pretty psyched about that and the lack of redemption island.

I have always watched survivor, since Season 1. But I just couldn't get into this last season because of the favorites. Really was so boring to me. I'll give the next season a try, but if they keep bringing people back and don't try something new, location, etc. I may be done.

Survivor is nothing more than real world/road rules. A bunch of assholes whose job is to be on a reality tv show.

That is one thing I remember about the earlier seasons. Food and shelter were a bigger part of the game. I remember people talking about all the weight they lostt. I also remember that one of the camps was washed away in a flash flood in Australia. This type of stuff doesn't happen anymore.

Now, it is more like a typical reality show than the game show that it was in the earlier seasons.

All-new cast? I thought CBS had given up on that. Hope it doesn't suck arse as much as the last all-newbie season.

I want to see a season of 18 survivalists, not given steaks and burgers every 3 days and see how they survive.

I long for the old days when they would drop 40 pounds.

I loved Australia when they had to give up their tarp for more rice after the flash flood wiped out their camp.

They need to get back to limited food rewards for just a couple of people and not the whole damn tribe chowing down.

I skipped the last 2 seasons after way too much Hantz family.

I might watch this season knowing there are ZERO returning contestants.

Yea, I'm pumped for an all new cast.

I was disgusted when the finalists were all returning players last night. Screw Tyson (whom I've always disliked).

The Outback or the Serengeti would be amazing. Instead, we'll probably get another lush island with plenty of fish and coconuts.
