I'm so sick of their TV commericals on USA that I now have no interest in watching the series. Will I miss anything?

It's actually a really, really good series.
I don't watch USA outside of Suits, so I never see the ads. You're missing out on a really good show if that's what makes your decision.

I have 6 episodes left on my Scrubs re-watch then I'm starting Suits. Everybody I've talked to likes it. 1st two seasons are on Amazon Prime.

It's a really enjoyable show. I've always been a fan of Gabriel Macht, and there are some classy ladies up in it too. It's probably my favorite USA show.

What's the basic premise of the series? I'm guessing it's cutthroat corporate lawyers, but what do they do each week?

Be absolutely awesome. I don't know how else to describe. You had the basic premise right, though.

It's about a genius who never went to law school and gets hired as an associate by the best lawyer in NY.
