That's really sad.
It's hard to believe Star Wars is now old enough that major cast members (Carrier Fischer, Mayhew, etc.) are starting to die off.
People like James Earl Jones and Harrison Ford will be coming soon enough.

I was watching Alec Guinness today in "The Ladykillers" and I was reminded of the fan who wrote to him expressing his admiration for the movie and his role as Obi Wan Kenobi. Guinness wrote the young man back imploring him to grow the f'ck up and that he was heading down the road to perpetual adolescence.

Damn. I just saw him at Star Wars Celebration 2 weeks ago. He had to cancel photo ops one day because he wasn't feeling well. He was still doing the comic circuit up until his death. That's how much he cared about the fans. Glad I got to get a picture with him and his autograph.
