I would say the biggest "surprised I liked it" chick show that I probably wouldn't have watched on my own was Jane The Virgin. It's over the top parodying of Tela Novelas is just funny.

Same here. Finished season 3 last night. It's a pretty depressing show so far though lol.

I also wasn't a big fan of The Last Kingdom after the first season but my wife wanted to keep going and I'm glad I did because it got much better to me.

Yep. Wife watched it, told me about it, I was like "yeah, whatever". Then we went on a 2 week cruise and I watched a couple of episodes the first night when we got back to our room, and we binged watched all of it each night those two weeks.

Silicon Valley. I wouldn’t say made me watch, but asked me to watch it with her.

She didn't make me watch it but she did start watching House before I did.

Girls. It was solid, and it shows that Dunham has talent. Unfortunately, she's ruined her own career for being so freaking annoying.

The Greatest Showman: I had to be virtually dragged along to see it. I wanted to hate it so bad, but it was just too damn good and likable. What a well-done musical.

I wasn't interested in Breaking Bad but she's rewatched it four or five times, so I've learned to appreciate it.
