Spider-Man far from home

While it has some great moments I was underwhelmed. I thought mysterio was a stupid villian. Then in the after credits scene they out Peter's identity. Overall, thought everything was lame, but Holland is an excellent Spider-Man.

To each their own.

Compared to Homecoming, it's the lesser of the two across the board. But it's still an upper-mid-tier superhero film.

I didn't think it was horrible, just lame.

It's an above average genre film that hits all the right beats to make it an entertaining popcorn flick. It's a fun movie but won't be remembered in 10 years - just like the vast majority of MCU films.

It wasn’t as solid across the board as the first but it’s definitely good and also refreshing to have a HS Spidey and his costars actually got their age.
I think the suit is still garbage though. I much prefer the Garfield style.
I do think they’ve lingered long enough on teen Peter though.
I’m ready for grownup college Parker and a darker villain set.

I liked the movie. Although i still don't think they have made the best MCU spidey movie yet.
What held Far from Home back from standing on its own was that it was the first film after Endgame, so alot of the movie had to do with winding down and wrapping up that phase of Marvel.
Next Spidey movie I expect a Spiderman that is completely comfortable on his own and ready to kick arse in all his wisecracking glory, I loved RDJ in the MCU but I don't want to hear Tony Stark name 50 times in the next Spiderman movie. Spiderman is a great character on his own. He shouldn't have to depend on cameos from other characters to have a gpod movie.
