I just got done watching the first season.

The first two episodes looked like someone made it while running in front of sets colored with crayons, but the story overcame that.

Episodes 3-12 were really good IMO. The fight scenes were top notch.

The finale was amazing. Definitely in my top 3 of TV season finales I have seen.

I stayed vague to avoid spoilers for those who have not seen it.

Blasphemy.

OP:
You'll like season two also, more story and less fighting So far but it's still great. Though I love the fighting scenes, this season seems to be building up to some epic fights.

I watched the first three. Then I was told I should watch season 1 first. Not sure why, looking back on it, but ok. Now I'll catch the 4th episode on Netflix

I watched the first episode of season two before I finished season one. It didn't effect anything except the recap from the final episode (which idk why thy would show season 1 recap for season 2 premeir). But knowing what would happen only made me anxious to see it.

I think netflix-type programs are the only places to get shows (while in progress) due to contract.

Netflix has been adding them to their watch instantly section about a day after they air. They do it with all shows and movies that are on Starz

I Love this show! I am halfway through season one on Netflix and am hooked. My wife even likes it and we are watching 2-3 episodes a night after the kids go to sleep.

The new season is a prequel right? I plan on watching it next. I hate that Andy Whitfield had to leave the show. He is a great Spartacus and will be hard to replace.

Yes. 6 episodes total, 4 aired to date. It's good.

Agreed. The reason for the prequel was his cancer. Originally the prequel was going to be a 1-2 episode flashback in season 2.

I enjoy the show and am really looking forward to see how they show the actual war.

I went back and watched episode 1 and 2 of B&S. They weren't that bad in retrospect. Were they up to the quality of the rest of the episodes? No, but they served a purpose and did well in that purpose.
