Cartman is poor right?

Based on that one episode, he is. But Kenny has always been the resident poor kid.

I think you've got it backwards. Token is rich and Cartman is poor right?

Yes, Token is rich, but Cartmen isn't poor. Thats Kenny.

Cartman is the second poorest kid at school.

But they don't push it like they do with Kenny... That's all I meant by it.

Kenny = Poor Kid
Carman = Fat Kid
Kyle = Jew
Stan = Don't really push him in a single direction anymore

This is probably the most polarizing viewpoint on South Park. Half of the fans say it's best when they just do random crap and don't always try to force current events into their episodes, and then the other half like the episodes more because they are not only funny but relevant.

I am ok with them doing episodes focused on current events but it gets a little tiring if they do it every episode. I'd like a good story sometimes to keep my interest.

This is me right here.

Plus it always helps when they are actually funny.

There's also a third group: those of us who realize that how topical an episode is has little to do with quality

I guess I'm in this group, if it makes me laugh, then I like it. But there are some like the Scause one, that was not really LOL funny, but it was just well done. The Whale Wars one was completely pop culture and that is in my top 10. I just go with whatever is funny to me. I've just noticed that the more pop culture/ societal statement a show is, the less likely I am to find it really funny.

Stan is the All-American kid. Think Kevin Arnold or Corey from BMW.

He serves as the moral compass more than anything else.

I actually think Kyle usually ends up being the moral authority.
