"Cartman Gets an Anal Probe"
Cartman tells his friends Stan, Kyle, and Kenny he had a dream about being abducted by aliens. The boys realize that this did actually happen when Kyle's baby brother, Ike is abducted also. They manage to rescue Ike while the aliens conclude that cows are the most intelligent species on the planet.

Watched that episode, and watched every other one since then every week that they aired.
Easily one of the GOAT shows and one of my favorites as well.
I know people always say "Oh, there's so much going on for SP to make fun of," but that has literally never been more true than right now. If I were Comedy Central, I would be begging Trey and Matt to give me shows ASAP, and extending the season to give them more episodes. I would do whatever it took to make that happen. In a weird way, I feel like we need Trey and Matt's opinions on the state of the world more now than we ever have.

GOAT show
I wish I could go back in time to '97 and watch them as they aired. I missed out on that for the first season or two because my town didn't get Comedy Central until '99 I think.

Agree. I know some think they have gone soft but I don't believe that's true. They give zero fricks about offending people. They are successful enough where they can do it. Comedy Central would be foolish to cancel it's top rated show of all time in the name of wokeness...I don't doubt Matt and Trey could find another network if something like that happened and they wanted to continue. They have plenty of money as well, and other hobbies. People are going to follow what they put out, despite woke people bitching.

I’ve been a fan since the beginning and always look forward to new seasons. I don’t think ever more so than this year! I wish they’d do more episodes though, if not now than never. There’s sooooooo much material for them to work with from the past 6 months AND the elections coming up, this season has potential to be legendary

Even though I think South Park is legit a work of art that needs to go in a museum, I'll be that guy:
Some of those early South Parks, like a lot of material from era (Jerry Springer, Howard Stern, Monday Night Raw) ages terribly. That era of late 90's "extreme" and "edgy" television is not good at all when you go back and watch.
It matured into a (if not the) GOAT show.

The Randy Marsh/Coronavirus potential is amazing.

Still the GOAT animated TV show.

One of the truly groundbreaking TV shows.
For me, it's easy to call this nostalgia too, though, I was 15 when it premiered, so literally the target audience.

Can't wait for the new season. Coronavirus, riots, and election year will give them a ton of material. Hopefully we get more than just 10 episodes in the season though.
I've been playing through the South Park video games during quarantine. Finished Stick of Truth and about halfway through Fractured But Whole and the games may be even more hilarious than the TV show.

GOAT show
No question in my mind. I can't think of another show that has stayed culturally relevant for so long. Except for something like maybe SNL or the Tonight Show which I kind of put in a different category. Even as iconic as the Simpsons was, I don't think the show has been all that relevant for close to 20 years now.

That's the best part about South Park, all the crazy shite going on in this world right now they've already done an episode on or downright predicted it.

Thank George Clooney and the brilliance of Trey and Matt!

I was in 3rd grade when this show came out and used to have to sneak watching it. Still love it.

I remember watching live as Cartman told Scott he ate his own parents. Nothing in the world can compare to that brief moment in history.
