Am I the only one who likes this movie?
And no, I am not talking about the total snoozefest original. Yeah Turkey Burger / Super Pariah the original was a total snoozefest.
Nothing like an exciting 7 minute scene of someone riding on the subway
I imagine many people think the remake was a snoozefest and in comparison to the original it was an adrenaline rampage.
I tend to watch this one about once a year.
Anyone else like this one or am I the only one similar to my love for The Box?

I could watch a 5 hour extended edition super director's cut of The Box.
I had no freaking clue what the hell was going on and they didn't even attempt to explain everything which I found to be a plus. Only bad thing in the box was that horrible southern accent by Diaz.

The original was a fantastic philosophical meditation about love and the unconscious. Although, it is not Tarkovsky's best by any means. It's slow because Tarkovsky wants you to ponder every image before he moves on to the next one.

Good Lord, dude. I remember you liking it though. I actually had heard all the bad things about it long before I ever watched it. I ended up caatching it on a cruise I went on a couple years ago. It was definitely super weird, but I was already prepared for all that so it didn't bother me. I still didn't think it was good though.

You're right about one thing...they certainly didn't give a single frick about even remotely trying to explain what was happening.
