So I gave The Office a 2nd Chance; I was wrong, it doesn't suck.

Season 1 sucked and that's probably why I stopped there before.

I went ahead and gave season two a shot and now I'm hooked. Currently on season 4 episode 5 and it's pretty good.

Michael still sucks though.

Same boat dude. I started a few weeks ago (on Season 3 now). I thought the first season was terrible but I pushed through it because

1) So many people liked it and recommended it there was no way it could be that bad.
2) I'm a big Parks & Rec fan and it got off to a rough start too.

I hated Michael at first, hell I really didn't care much for the character for much of season 2. But the show, including Michael gets way better and funnier.

Jim vs Dwight makes the show.

Michael gets better

Michael vs Toby is awesome, too

I guess I'm in the minority, but I loved season 1 of The Office. It doesn't get much better than The Alliance, Diversity Day, and Health Care episodes.

The Office is the best comedy of the past decade.

Michael Gary Scott is a got damn national treasure. He consistently guided Dunder Mifflin Scranton to solid sales growth while other branches were being shut down. He also was an accomplished author, director, and actor. And that's not even mentioning the numerous Dundies he won. Shame on all of you who try and sullie his good name.

Michael Scott is hard to stomach through most of the first viewing.

I watched the 1st season a second time a month ago, and loved Michael. Because everything he is in season 1 sets up who he becomes, perfectly

Interesting. I will have to go back at the end to appreciate the character development

The show sucked when he left.

I watched a couple episodes back in the day and it didn't interest me at the time.

Decided to give it a go last year and man.. I loved it. Finished the entire series in 2 weeks.

After that I gave Parks and Rec a chance and ended up enjoying it as well.

It's kind of like Arrested Development. Rewatching just makes it funnier because you pick up on so many more jokes.

Michael is great but extremely cringe-worthy. But he's the catalyst for all of the shenanigans.

Just finished it recently. It was great. I didn't really hate any season, but the show definitely starts to wear out in seasons 7, 8, and 9.

Seasons 2-5 are just some of the best comedy that you'll find on tv.

Always say this. It makes the characters more funny second time around especially early. They were just weird people to you at first. then you fell in love with them

Kevin seems like a moron early on. but then he becomes your moron.
