So, how heavily will Ant Man and the Wasp tie into Infinity Wars?

The tag line:
makes it sound like it's an integral part of the IW story-line. Or, are they talking about some other war?

I don’t know, but I do know I want the wasp to tie me up and punish me.

It would jive with the rumors of the Quantum Realm being the key to undoing what Thanos did.

I think its set before IW. Ant Man will be in IW2 though.

In the aftermath of 'Captain America: Civil War,' Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to re-balance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he's confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.

It sounds to me like it’s set before Thanos comes to Earth. But I fully expect them to tie the very end of the movie to the plot of Infinity War. I think we’ll find out that AntMan lost a lot of time in the quantum realm and comes back to normal time and size in the tail end of the Avengers’ fight with Thanos, right before the balancing

So is it a safe bet that the ‘secrets from their past’ bit means that the Ghost (the villian in the previews) is Hank’s wife? He said she got lost in the quantum realm in the first one, so I assume she’ll show back up in at least some way.
Maybe they fight her the bulk of the movie, she remembers herself towards the end, and they team up to do something related to infinity war to close out/lead into infinity war 2

Would be funny if mid way through movie, half of everyone turns to dust

Wouldn’t be surprised if they incorporated that into a post credits scene

That’s probably what’s going to happen.
But I’m not sure if it’s going to be Janet, Hope and Hank that go, leaving Scott by himself or if Hope survives the dusting. I could see Hank surviving it too and Hope and Janet biting it. I fully expect Scott’s daughter to dust too most likely.
ETA: Also apparently there’s two post credit scenes instead of just one. Possibly the dusting in the first and maybe Scott approaching Tony in the second?

On TexAgs there is a dude very closely tied to Hollywood (and is legit) that said early screenings had 0 ties to IW.
He said there were no post credit scenes at that early viewing so take that with a grain of salt.

Twitter reports from people who actually attended an early screening have said there are two and both are important

Ant-man could have turned off Thanos' lights without anyone even seeing him do it just by flying into his ear and supersizing a Lego piece. But I'm guessing we might be introduced to the multiverse, or time travel, or get more acquainted with the quantum realm.

Tony is on Titan though. If anyone, it would be Captain America.

Fair enough. This was May so I’m sure there are more edits.
Guy very rarely gets any Hollywood info wrong. He just said that the core story is independent of IW. Probably wasn’t stinger at a test screening 2 months before final edits.

I envision ant-man or wasp jumping onto the gauntlet and dislodging the stones without anyone knowing.

The reality stone could thwart any of Ant-Man's shenanigans. Just a move of the finger and he's back to normal size.
The most reasonable theory I've heard is somebody forging a new gauntlet and going on a scavenger hunt through time to recover their own copies of the stones, with Thanos then chasing them through time.

Michelle Pfeiffer has already been cast as Janet Pym.
