What the hell did I just watch? who thought that was funny enough to put on air? I turned it off after that crappy cat skit. The writing talent is non existant on that show any more.

No doubt. That sketch was a bomb. Just not funny at all. That would have been a stretch for the 11:55 slot.

Daniel Craig was pretty funny, but fricked up a few lines. Nothing terrible though.

Writing seemed VERY focused on the presidential race/debate, which reflected poorly on the other "time-filler" slots. The British skit and the outer space cat thing were pretty big wtf moments.

Opening skit and weekend update were pretty top notch IMO. Of course Obama gave some very solid material, and it was nice to see SNL dog on the democrat, which is a rarity

Big Bird

Muse was awesome, great pick. Especially since they released an album last week.

Side note: they recycled the "Undecided Voters" bit from one of the thursday skits

I'll give it a 6.5/10

ETA: Chris Parnell in the opening skit was awesome

MSNBC & the painting woman were the only funny bits. Really disappointing.

Looks like Kate McKinnon is the new Kristen Wiig.

That's OK for now, she's pretty good.

I liked the "What a sorry lot we are" skit.

Space skit was "WTF?" moment for me.

Not sure if Aidy Bryant (the fat chick) is going to make it. Seems like they are forcing her into skits just to give her something to do.

I thought it was a decent episode.

Big Bird for the win.

MSNBC

I only cracked a smile on the Al Sharpton bits. Never even laughed or even chuckled. The show really misses Tina Fey's writing, among a few other things.
