Coming out later this month.

I missed out on The Godfather, because no theater in driving distance would show it. But at least I'll get to see the next best thing on the big screen.

I'll have a Diablo Sammich and a Dr Pepper to celebrate.

I am more than willing to barbecue someone's arse in molasses to watch this on the big screen.

It is the utter conviction in how he delivers that line that perfectly sells the moment.

Junior Justice is grossly underrated as a character in this movie

his delivery is perfect, the physical humor is on point

Still one of the catchiest theme songs in any movie imo.

96 Rock in Atlanta used to play it every Friday at 5PM to celebrate the work week ending. It’s a gem.

Most underrated line:

“And don’t go home. And don’t go to eat. And don’t play with yourself. It wouldn’t look nice on my highway.

Now you can think about it… but don’t DO it.”

Mike Henry:
- co-captain of USC football team.
- played linebacker in the NFL for the Steelers and Rams.
- played freakin' TARZAN in three(3!) movies in the 1960s.
- played a sergeant in The Green Berets with John Wayne
- played one of the guards in The Longest Yard
- and best of all, as you said, did a great job as Junior in Smokey and the Bandit

Died last year at the age of 84.
RIP, Mike Henry
