From here, it seems like a lot of people go option A of "omg I don't want to be canceled! Ok fine they are gay and they have a demiqueer intersex minority partner" instead of option B which is "did you just hear me? It's a fictional character I created and they aren't gay. Shut the frick up. If you don't like it don't watch, quit wasting my time with this shite"

You could say the same thing for feminists. Instead of creating new stories with new characters the feminists used Star Wars and Ghostbusters for their agenda. I'm starting to think feminists really hate nerds. Oh you can also see this effect in video games, like Battlefield V where the idiot game creator wanted a woman with a cybernetic arm to be the main character in a WW2 game (supposedly the game was usually historically accurate) so his daughter could feel better.

I would say the same for race or gender swapping. My guess is they'd come up with some sort of answer like - ' We want to show everyone how normal being gay is, and that many people in history, sports stars, celebrities, were gay. So we need to make people rethink how they view history by changing who was and is gay. '

But what they're doing is effectively LYING, and denying the reality of other people's lives, or stealing from creators their ownership over their work.

Do a story on Ellen. She's gay. Always has been gay. Do a story on known gay people, or make up your OWN gay characters. Notice how they try to make Tolkien characters gay. Or even get angry at J.K. Rowwling, who refused to make any of her Harry Potter characters 'trans', even after she tried to retcon Dumbledore as 'gay'. Not only didn't she win any Alphabet brownie points, they came at her harder because of her views on trans characters. In a FICTIONAL story about wizards and dragons.

These folks are never satisfied until EVERYONE is gay and trans.

That's actually a solid video and makes the point very well. No one is suggesting that any fan can not create, in their own mind, whatever backstory or underlying message they'd like to find in a story...but you can't force that personal story onto the actual created work if that was never the intent of the creator.

It's an awkward and hamfisted attempt to project their lack of empathy onto anyone who is not of their ilk.

They preach diversity and inclusion while actively seeking to exclude, if not completely banish, any and all who do not populate their particular cultivated social bubble.

This foolishness would not be tolerated if not for compliant media who continuously champions these losers and their prejudices.

Just watched the video. Dude nailed it. It won't stop because Hollywood enables these people.

He also made a great point that militant LGBTQRSTUVXWYZ people misinterpret things as being gay when they actually relate to everyone, not just gay people. They're so invested in their identity that they can't understand that people who aren't gay can have similar experiences.
