I actually like the series that this was based on and a lot of it was very WTF.

She Hulk / Jen Walters having to work a libel / slander case by Spider-Man against J Jonah Jameson? Comedy gold.

Twerking with Megan Thee Stallion? Less so.

will get a black and white re-release in Japan.

What's great is that this isn't gonna be a quick release where they click a few buttons and hit 'remove color', but they're going to edit the movie from the ground up. Some have questioned if that technically makes it an entirely different production, but I think most would say it's the same.

They're not doing this for vanity either. It'll be quality made and it'll make money as well.

The other issue is if/when we'll ever get a English dubbed version. They really need to do their homework when casting voice actors if they want to do this right. I'd LOVE to own a subbed/dubbed version in a double director's cut case. We'll see.

It doesn't sound like this was ever renewed.

How many Marvel shows have had a second season? Loki and What If? Is that it? Seems like this is normal for Marvel TV

Dumb bitches.

I though they might continue out of spite, wasting everyone's time and way more money, like they usually do, like they did with Star Trek Discovery. Guess not.

Post-Endgame? I think so.

SHIELD went on for several seasons, and all but Iron Fist and Defenders on Netflix went multiple seasons.

Man, those Netflix shows were great (though both Jessica Jones and Luke Cage suffered from villain drop-off, and Cage's was midseason which really sucked).

Could have had an interesting concept but its writers hate the audience its writing for so the end result is something no one really likes…

The one thing with these movies (and other co-opting of popular cultural items) that I never get.

I mean I get that the writers are trying to be subversive and push their message through cultural icons (aka, what I call being clever), but all that really does it make them look weak and uncreative, because they can't create those messages on their own.

I honestly think they realize this midway through writing these things, which is why the subversion turns into direct contempt of the audience who will actually watch it.

If that image you shared is any indication, it was completely cringe from start to finish.

It was made to piss off what used to be Marvel's core fans-- nerdy comic guys. It was a comic-book show made by people who hate comic book characters and their fans.
I'm not just making this up, either, the writers and actor said as much.

Surprisingly, no one watched it or liked it, because it was made to deliberately antagonize natural fans and the "cool people" who think like the people who made it hate comic book stuff. Genius-level moves.

It had good moments. Blonski was used well and the Wong/Madisynn-with-a-Y-but-not-where-you-think-it-is duo stole every episode they were in. People watched it. People liked it. But it went off the rails to the point where it probably won't be missed by many.

Yeah I think many have always tried to convey some cultural message…but some of these grew up in such a bubble, they only know how to beat their audience over the head with their message. They think they’re doing the world a service

They don’t understand that their core audience doesn’t hate female heroes or diversity, it’s their crappy writing

Personally I also think black panther broke Marvel to a certain degree, chasing an audience thats not going to consistently show up.

Yep. She-Hulk isn't an inherently bad concept.

Problem is woke writers are talentless hacks.

Jen ALWAYS had a good relationship with Bruce AND the Hulk persona, more or less. Even when nearly everyone else was against him, she was the one he would at listen to because she has always cared about him.

I know this is a bit off topic, but it legit bugs me when someone spells "sweetie" as "sweaty"

Those are two VERY different things. Thank goodness for context.
