Anyone else watched her special on Studio? It's still re-airing, a few replays to go.

This woman definitely still has it going on.

Helluva show from the Grand Coliseum at Ceasar's Palace in Vegas. Back drop and stage props are incredible.

She sings a bunch of new stuff but all of her old hits too.

Beautiful woman. Heckuva showwoman. What a voice. Hard to believe she is 54 years old.

Opening outfit ....

She goes through a lot of costume changes.

She sings an a cappella ode to her mother while dressed in this set with these two guys then she brings her baby sister out to sing. Then she brings some people out of the crowd to sing around a campfire thingy .... really cool set.

I kinda get the feeling this aired earlier last year on ABC based upon what I have read.

This set with the white horse on stage .... no bridle no lead, I don't think I have ever seen anything like this done on stage before. While she is singing "Looks Like We Made It" .... and the darn horse curtseys.

Just incredible.

Then she follows that up in this long flowing white gown singing "From This Moment" .... which my wife and I had sung at our wedding. The set is her standing on this rippling floating cloud ..... what a show.

Lol .... the wife is crying.

Wow, this woman puts on a show!

If you missed it this show replays on Studio ...

Tomorrow 1/10/20 at 10:30 PM ET
Tuesday 1/14/20 at 10:30 PM ET

Then it's done. DVR it and watch it at your convenience on the biggest screen with the best sound system you've got. Helluva show.

Yep

Finally found the recording date of the show ..... 28 February 2015 and it was her last show at Ceaser's Palace.

She went into rest mode for a couple of years and has since returned (December 2019 through June 2020) and is showing at Zappos in Planet Hollywood.

Wife booked us tickets for her last show in June (the 6th) tonight. I told her I'd go provided it didn't interfere with the Gamecocks if they end up in Omaha by chance.

They also do something similar in Tijuana but it’s with a donkey.

Alwways liked Shania, great songs, great look.

People blamed her for morphing pop with country but it was coming anyways.

Her big album was huge.

Wish she had more follow-ups.

She’s a smoke show but at the CMAs last month she looked awful. I’ll allow it and give her a bad day but I didn’t like what I saw. Looked very bloated and plastic

Agree.
For old times sake, google Shana Petrone and Cyndi Thompson. They came after Shania- when it was all the rage to be a gorgeous country-pop singer.
Also- I think people forget Jesse James Decker started mostly in country. She the GOAT as far as looks go, in my opinion

Ummmmmmmmm, I can see your point.

Age catches up to all of us. Let's revisit this when Decker turns 54, until then ...

Oddly similar look to young Shania, especially the body type ....

I remember pouring over her Wiki and stumbled upon something interesting. Her and her best friend swapped spouses.

quote:

Twain met producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange after he heard her original songs and singing from her debut album; he then offered to produce and write songs with her. They first met at Nashville's Fan Fair in June 1993 and quickly became close. They were married on December 28, 1993 and had a son, Eja (pronounced "Asia"), in August 2001.[111] On May 15, 2008, it was announced that Twain and Lange were separating after Lange allegedly had an affair with Twain's best friend, Marie-Anne Thiébaud.[63][64][112][113] Their divorce was finalized on June 9, 2010.[114] On December 20, 2010, it was reported that Twain was engaged to Swiss Nestlé executive Frédéric Thiébaud, the ex-husband of Marie-Anne.[115][116][117] They were married on January 1, 2011, in Rincón, Puerto Rico.[118]
