Looked good up until the big CGI battle that will obviously be the set piece of the final act.

I didn’t realize Mr. Kim’s son was going to be the lead. It would be nice for Mr. Kim to make an appearance.

Sure. I'll watch it.

Had no idea this had anything to do with the MCU
The Mandarin will be the villain

Looks more like a Marvel Netflix show than part of the MCU.

He was in a couple episodes of The Mandalorian.

Looks good. Keep him away from The Avengers.

I will watch, seems cool but cinematography looks TV like.
Hard to describe, need to add film grain or something.

I'm hoping for more of the mystical martial arts style fights like in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. I saw hints of that kind of thing in the trailer.
Then having someone like that interact with superpowered heroes like Spider-Man would be a lot of fun.

Awkwafina is annoying af, how did she become the token comedic relief in Asian movies
I’ll watch it, but this looks B grade at best.

Yep. And my wife chuckled when he was flying away and I said “ok see you.”

So with the Ten Rings the Mandarin will be involved and he will have ... basically, super powers by the end of this film. That's cool I guess

Stop Asian hate
Hey, I'm not the studio that cast a white woman as an Asian man.

I'll watch it, but I'll be honest I have absolutely zero idea on who this character is.

You can tell this is made for China by the almost complete lack of any diversity in the trailer, but I'm sure we won't see many talking heads complaining about that.
Looking forward to seeing this on Disney Plus a few months after release.

From the big Kung Fu craze of the early 70's when Carradine's Kung Fu series was on the air. Marvel got the rights to Fu Man Chu and turned Fu Man Chu Jr. into a Kung Fu expert. With all of the Iron Fists and Karate Kids and Richard Dragon Kung Fu Fighters at Marvel and DC (all white guys), Shang Chi was the lone Asian.

Looks better than Captain Marvel

Looks like they combined Fu Man Chu and the Mandarin into one character in this movie.
