Yup I think it covers everything

1. don't try to understand it
2. Characters? "Its gonna be a little tough for me to care about the story if you don't give me anything in that departement though."
3. expositional conversations in different locations
4. jumping from person to person with no real footing
5. sound mixing can skip to it here
6. "do people have flashlight eyes?"

“Barely an inconvenience, super easy”

Nolan fanboys be like "if you watch it 4 times, it will start to make sense. That is what Nolan wanted."

the confusion isn't even the worst part to me. Nola wrote that movie like he was channeling Sorkin with the dialogue in one of the worst exposition/first thirds i've ever seen. the pitch meeting clip nails the "scene to scene to scene" part, but it left out the rapid fire dialogue.

it creates a setting where (1) you don't care about the characters (2) you don't understand the catch and (3) it moves through all this at lightning pace. it clearly establishes this movie has nothing underneath a cool concept and some nice action pieces.

The sound mix was completely unacceptable. I never thought I'd say this, but the studio needs to reign him in. There's a scene where they're out on the ocean on those cool boats. I literally could not understand a word anyone was saying. He went way overboard on this film.

Still haven’t seen this movie and a huge Nolan fan. Is it easily his worst film?

Hard to say. I had a lot of problems with it, but I have friends that really like it. My best advice is to watch it with subtitles on.

I 100% agree with this. Wife and I watched it last weekend and I told her I how I really didn't "give a shite" about the people in the movie, nor did I truly understand why the bad man was bad. I'm no movie buff, and I get the bad man made a deal with other bad people to live a rich life to certain age instead of regular life, but still didn't give a shite. Also I guess what I don't realize is why the other bad guys wanted him to end all things? And John David Washington is usually charismatic, but the pacing and story of this film did not allow him to shine

I haven't watched Tenet, but I just wanted to drop in to say that I think I've watched about 50 of these Pitch Meetings in the last month. I can't get enough of them.

By far

I’m not kidding when I say it was the worst movie I’ve seen, from a narrative/character building perspective, in my adult life

I watched it once and came away not really knowing what I watched. It’s awful. I can’t believe Nolan got it past studio executives.
