Sandlot director David Mickey Evans recently revealed during an appearance on the podcast Rain Delay that a television series will bring back all the original cast members from the movie.
Even people who don't like baseball appreciate the plot, set in the 60's, where an outcast boy finds his place in a new neighborhood with new friends through pick-up ballgames.
Evans, who recently announced a movie prequel was also in the works, said the TV series will be set in 1984, according to SlashFilm.
The movie ended with a sequence showing where the boys ended up - but Evans doesn't say if that's the same plot the TV show will follow.
Those actors are all jizzing in their pants though.

I can see a sequel about Benny's rookie season in the majors where he uses his childhood passion for the game to motivate his team to a playoff berth or even World Series win. That could work.
Was that supposed to be adult Smalls as the announcer at the end? That could be a way to bring him back. Maybe they're all still friends with the other guys.

So we going to see the strip mall guys being rich, the one who got hooked on drugs, the one who disappeared, what about the wresting legend the Bambino, and will we see the one who is coaching little league after flaming out in the minors

If you want to go the depressing route, Squints and Wendy Peffercorn can live in a trailer with their five kids. Squints is an unemployed alcoholic, Wendy is fat and chain smokes.

They had 9 kids not 5.

Does not sound interesting. If they’re all adults and aren’t goofing around playing baseball at the sandlot then what’s the point

90% of that movie was filmed in Salt Lake City.

All the kids were probably molested during the making of the film and turned to drugs which ultimately ruined there lives.

Not a good idea
When has a TV series spinoff from a movie ever succeeded?
Just let Sandlot be. Don't tarnish its reputation
