The reality is that there is more of this shite going on in the entertainment and media business than anywhere else. I work with an international company and have friends in other big businesses. Some of the shite that goes on in entertainment has us all scratching our heads. You don’t see this kind of crazy behavior in corporate America.

Some of the most successful people I work with are women and I wouldn’t dream of doing this kind of shite. It’s even more laughable that these are the people that have been preaching to us backwards arse southern folk for years about how we need to act.

Rose McGowan is a psycho and based on what we’re hearing most of the industry are a bunch of deviants. But...we kind of knew that all along didn’t we?

Not all accusations are true. Not all accusations are vile lies to oppress you. Stay off both bandwagons and you'll lead a more honorable life.

I can't speak to the frequency of either industry. It seems likely that the observations of any one person on the subject are going to be conjecture based upon anecdote. Frankly, it seems to me getting objective answers for this type of thing is especially challenging when coming forward might end your career but for someone already out of the industry coming forward becomes a potentially beneficial act of either revenge or restitution.

Anyway, I do think there is a natural human tendency for people to see in others the poor behaviors they are most guilty of in themselves. In that respect, understanding that a Harvey Weinstein might have talked about things like the proper treatment of women is obviously a combination of terrible hypocrisy and a form of outward admission of guilt and understanding of the gravity of his own misdeeds.

No. CEOs of corporate America just take trips to Thailand where they have sex with kids.

No. That's where I lack empathy.

Here, let me go one step further and tell you how I really feel about this.

You know that suicide tends to be only something people from rich countries partake in. Go to Africa, and suicide is almost unheard of.

Truth.

I think this is because we as a society are made to "envy" from birth. Everything thats fed through the TV makes people think that it is "materials" that make you happy. And you're not going to be successful unless you have 4 houses and 7 cars and friends how are envious of each and everyday you live. It's bullshite how much our priorities as a society have changed, changed for the worse.

Before you get too far into the explanation, though, make sure the premise is rock-solid. Africa, for instance, has lots of other problems, some of which almost certainly interfere with any gathering of evidence. Their governments rarely keep such statistics, especially since a preponderance of them are deeply corrupt and more interested in staying in power than in tracking these sorts of things. Also, keep in mind that if you study any Middle Eastern country, rape is virtually unheard of. It just doesn't happen a lot. Of course, this is a ridiculous claim, but all the local sources back it up. In other words, reporting these things is necessary to prove they happened. If a culture doesn't consider rape or suicide something to share or acknowledge, yeah, those things will be almost unheard of. Methodology is important, as is reliable evidence.

then how disappointed they must be it immediately became about getting people for dumb shite instead of having the real predators exposed.

alienating men instantly with boob cupping witch hunts and losing focus with cheap virtue signaling publicity stunts.

Yep they lost me at the hair dresser that willing gave 15 blow jobs on 15 occasions but 5 years later its assault because he finished on her face all 15 times...
