re: Roger Rabbit real question

First time I jerked to a cartoon. That’s all I got.

Judge Doom was a scary fricker at one point in my life

I seem to recall it was referred to as “ Who Killed Roger Rabbit” in development, but Spielberg realized that would never fly as a kids movie (which it was at heart, despite the adult themes).

So they rewrote it where Roger was framed for the murder of Maroon, hence the title change.

(In the original novel, Who Censored Roger Rabbit, Roger is murdered and Eddie Valiant is called in to solve the crime).
