So in anger about a supposed insensitive comment that one person made about another...
You post a similar insensitive comment.
A winner is you!
Given the situation, Ebert's comment wasn't really out of left field.

who?
A guy who drunk drove into a tree and killed himself and his passenger. Obviously someone that should be held in higher esteem than Roger Ebert.

Not to mention shoving things up his arse. Clearly a man who deserves more respect than Roger Ebert.

The immediate reason for my "leave of presence" is my health. The "painful fracture" that made it difficult for me to walk has recently been revealed to be a cancer. It is being treated with radiation, which has made it impossible for me to attend as many movies as I used to. I have been watching more of them on screener copies that the studios have been kind enough to send to me. My friend and colleague Richard Roeper and other critics have stepped up and kept the newspaper and website current with reviews of all the major releases. So we have and will continue to go on.

So on this day of reflection I say again, thank you for going on this journey with me. I'll see you at the movies.
Damn, he wrote that two days ago. I will miss reading his writings.

Man, who knew Jackass fans were such wilting violets?

He had absolutely no reason to comment on Dunn's death, especially right after it happened. Yea it still rubs me the wrong way.

And Ebert gives living 2 thumbs down

dumb ole Roger Ebert is dead. Icons and luminaries like Ryan Dunn don't die, they become immortal legend, with song and prose dedicated to their name forevermore.
in fact, in memory of Ryan Dunn I'm going to go drink some horse cum and light a black cat inside my urethra.

1) The guy loved Dark City dearly, if you have ever seen that movie, and never watched it with Roger Ebert Commentary, you don't know what you are missing.
his championing of DC is one of the reasons i love him.
did he ever do another commentary?

Yeah, god forbid he tells people to not let their friends drink and drive.

He said a little more than don't drink and drive.

You get awfully emotional about a comment made toward piece of shite that killed himself and another person because of his careless actions.

He said Jackass, can't imagine why he associated that with Dunn. I'm stunned Ebert even apologized.

Yeah, he made a pun about his career. He made his career off of being a Jackass, and ironically I think he'd want to be remembered as such.
And Dunn killed his passenger, to where I'm not very sympathetic towards Dunn's death.
