RIP Len Wein. Co-Creator of Wolverine and Swamp Thing

One of the true legends of the game. The international multi-ethnic All-New X-Men was his idea. At one point, he was writing Thor, Hulk, Spider-man, AND the Fantastic Four. He kept Marvel afloat in the early post-Lee years.

He also hired Dave Gibbons to do the art on Watchmen, which he claimed was the only editorial decision he made on the book which bears his name in the credits as Editor. But he shepherded that project through DC and deserves a ton of credit for keeping everyone away from Moore and letting him work his magic (he also handed Swamp Thing off to him years earlier, the best decision in comic history).

Total badass.
