As mentioned often in the Gemstone's thread, I'm a preacher's kid and there are many parts about this show that I find very true very similar in the way that I found Veep the most accurate show about politics
I appreciate the sensibility and sensitivity with which they have treated people who preach for a living in this show
Even the ones who it's very easy to perceive are abusing religion in people's faiths in quiet moments, they can get very convicted, and more often than not, there is love

Had a few lines, but it was probably the worst episode of the series. I got bored. The wacking monkey wasn’t nearly as funny as on Silicone Valley with the robot armed monkey. This was in part due to the lackluster reaction of everyone else which was not very funny. I am not sure who Jonathan Watson is, but the energy and direction has been off in the past 2 episodes which he directed. The actors seem to be tired and bored. Goggins didn’t seem overly into it as well this episode, and he has been the only consistently funny part of this season until tonight.
Hopefully McBride or Hill directs the last episode.
I guessing something extra will come up with Sean William Scott’s character next episode, but he mostly been asleep as well and could use some of Baby Billy’s 8 ball.

The fact that everyone just casually calls him Big Dick Mitch makes me LOL.

Thought there was going to be a breakthrough with Judy and Dr. Watson becoming friends there when the guy was taking him away and Judy started describing herself

I was thinking the same. Maybe next week after Dr Watson escapes and saves the day, but for this kind of show it should go the other way where he escapes and tries to kill her again which forces her husband to have to chose between the 2.

I hate rushed endings. They have a lot to wrap up. Why not 10 instead of 9?

I’m glad there’s only one left. This season has been pretty awful overall. Megan Mulaley sucks, not enough Baby Billy, etc.
The big laugh I get every week is the ‘Skip Intro’ on the shortest intro credits in all of existence- it’s hilarious to me

Yeah feels like we’re missing something with him. Like he jumps out of nowhere at the zoo to stab his dad in the back. I think it must be more than a hunch that he knew to go there.

I thought Baby Billy was hilarious starting with the scene where they were darted through the whole kidnapping and escape.

I finally caught up on the last few episodes. I will miss Baby Billy. The few lines he had while tied up with Eli were absolute gold.
