I am of the opposite opinion as most. I disliked them in the early going, but liked them more starting at the beginning of season 4 when they got together.

In the Launch Party episodes, when Dwight was at a low point and wallowing after ol’ girl broke up with him after he killed her cat, and he was determined to sell more paper than the website, I like how they really made it worse on him by screwing with him via the artificial intelligence they made up on AIM. When he was being annoying by saying some binary gibberish, I like how they really twisted the knife by saying - while you were saying all that, I just learned every fact known to man AND sold more paper than you

I actually liked Dwight a lot more in the early days. He was simple minded and gullible. Later Dwight was cold, calculating, and mean. Then the last episode- he and Jim and Pam are best friends? Sorry, but there was no trend for this payoff. They all didn't really get along for years. Him making Jim his bestest mensch instead of Mose was downright ludicrous.

Once will ferrel, kathy bates, and the rest came on I stopped watching because it really sunk but have caught some of the later seasons here and there. I agree...the finale was feel good and a nice situation for the fans but it was odd. The whole entire serires jim and dwight have been nemises (not in a truly MEAN way, like being hurtful to each other, but still) and then all of a sudden at the end they're all best buddies?

And this is an off topic tangent here, but it's ludicrous that they are all so close. I FULLY realize it's a TV show, and the whole point of the show is to show the characters that the viewers know. So I 100% understand that. But I mean..they hang out together, all go to the bar together, go to each other's weddings, etc. Stanley hates that office and everyone in it and can't wait to GTFO everyday but he's gonna spend his free time going to jim and pam and dwight's weddings? Yeah ok. I tolerate my coworkers and dont' mind their company but I'm not gonna spend all my waking free time wiht them either. It's like not a single character on the show has any friends they don't know from work.

Pam’s turning point was when she sent the beer back.

Jim and Pam are above average looking middle class slobs who think they’re way better than everyone else. They’re unbearable once they have a baby.

Dwight and Pam bonded when he saw her crying in the hall, then his breakup with Angela, and cemented it when he made her his ATRM.
Dwight and Jim became friends when Jim saved Dwight from being fired in Florida.

Why would you let someone else determine if you like them or not?
