Okay, so I get that they needed a healthy host, and they skipped over the people that were terminal. The bald headed boy with the bat, he looked like he was eat up with something...and the old man, he could have had all kinds of problems. BUT...the soldier with a bad knee? He wasn't terminal. He just had limp.

How could they determine that he wasn't a good host because he had a limp and furthermore, where do they draw the line? If I had a broken finger, would they just pass me by?

Every person that ever had an extensive injury would be the only people still standing along with the diseased. It would be all former and current football players, etc.

The healthy host thing is so weird. So many questions from that. Like if they were infected with blood from someone living who was very sick, what would happen to the zombie? Would it die, since it needs to feed on healthy host?

And if it would not affect them, why do they ignore the sick if it will not do anything to the zombies?!!?!

I don't necessarily think they left the soldier alone only because of the limp. Perhaps he had hep or the herp

How did a C-130 fly non stop from the Atlantic to Korea? Also they said the virus used the airlines to spread, the only scene on an airliner resulted in it crashing. How did an infected person get on an airliner and fly for hours without turning?

Some of the infected didn't turn as quickly. Also, organ transplants, especially black market organs from China.

It's possible the limp was bone cancer or something. Possibly undiagnosed. Just a guess.
