And why?

For me

The Leftovers

Never watched a show that raised so many stupid questions and never answered them. The whole show was just plain stupid all the way to the very end.

I kept watching thinking it would get better, but never did. I finally decided just to grind through it, but it took me three months.

Friends.

I don't like sitcoms really as it is and the jokes were so corny. There is nothing funny about "Smelly Cat". I was convinced guys just liked it because the girls they were trying to hook up with liked it.

Seinfeld.

I don't know if I "hate" it, but it's just not for me. I've tried to watch it a couple times and each time it just feels like it's trying way too hard.

But I recognize that it is very well loved and is not a "terrible" show. It's just not for me.

The Office.

I don't hate it but I've started it several times and can't get past the 5 or 6th episode. I think that I was expecting it to be a lot more like Parks and Rec than it is...especially casting.

"Game of Thrones," because I don't believe it's as good as most people say. I think it was popular because folks didn't wanna be left out of the conversations about the show at the water cooler on Monday morning. Far too many characters to keep track of, some of whom looked exactly alike. Not a fan.

Game of Sit on the Thrones.

I loathe George RR Martin as a general rule having met him decades ago before he got famous. He was still a malignant dwarf back then.

Seinfeld.

I like Julia Louis Dreyfus. That having been said watching this show is like watching one of those vet shows where they have to put down someone's pet.

I don't hate many other popular shows. I mean I didn't care for Breaking Bad. I didn't hate it, but it wasn't my cup of tea. I thought the Sopranos was exceptional TV... but again... not my cup of tea.

I guess maybe "hate" isn't quite the right word but it just wasn't my cup of tea. I've never really been into the whole medieval fantasy type stuff but decided I'd give it a try after hearing high praise about it. Nope just couldn't get into it. I don't think it was so much the show as much as it was that genre in general.

Oddly enough, the flipside of that is true for me. I couldn't get into Parks and Rec. I watched about four plus seasons of it and just never really liked it all that much. And that was partly because of how much I love The Office and how badly P&R was trying to mimic it (and failing to do so).

I don't hate P&R, and hope that I one day pick it back up. But I just got really bored with it to the point where I stopped watching altogether.

The first 2-3 seasons are definitely kinda awkward and trying too hard, everyone smiling and normal but after that you see them break into a stride of all being neurotic freaks with an edgy attitude thrown around. Made it much more genuine and funny. The situations also got more complex, interdependent and hence funnier.

I typically won't watch a TV show long enough to hate it.

Base on what I know about the shows premise, I think I would hate "Handmaids Tale". I've never watched it admittedly.

Thank god someone said it first.

Same here and I don’t get it because it seems like my kind of humor and topics but just couldn’t get into it. I’ll keep trying though.
