I thought it was great. Didn’t want it to end

I got bored with it ....I think I have one more season to watch but it fell off the motivation meter. Same drawn out soap opera stuff every season.

I'm watching again. Very good show and the scenery is amazing. The only frustrating thing is watching Ross stand by and allow George to constantly war against him due to his own sense of honor.

Would've been a better series if they'd had smartphones.
Lot of time wasted watching Poldark ride back and forth relaying messages to everyone.

I told my mom before she watched it you will see him riding his horse down the coast over and over.

My wife keeps nagging me to binge it. She friggin loved it
Unimportant side note: She kept asking me around season 1/2 if I thought Demelza got her boobs done between seasons. Its been a while but I do seem to remember early on she was flat as plywood

It was good at first. It got to where I couldn't stand the angst anymore and stopped watching. I didn't watch the last season. Hell I was starting to root for George by the end. lol. The red head was fire though.

Missed this when it first aired. Aidan Turner was great in Being Human.
Good call.

We watched last year during COVID and really enjoyed it.
Angsty at times, and too much sea staring but I like it.
Last season was a tad off the rails.

I’m midway though S3. I really like it so far. I’m liking it more than the Tudors, the White Queen trilogy and Downton Abbey. I put it up there with Medici, which I seem to like a little more than most.
It reminds me a little of Hell on Wheels the way everything centers around the mine like it did with the railroad for Hell on Wheels.
He does indeed spend a lot of time on horseback in between conversations. Lol
Caroline (the doctor’s wife) is a great character. Not just because she’s cute but she plays that character well. She looks the part and she’s always poised and always knows what to say and how to answer people. And as much as I hate George and the fat preacher that married the young girl, they are both well cast and are good in their parts along with the old aunt.
I haven’t gotten the soap opera fatigue yet because most issues get resolved pretty quick, at least when you’re binging the show.

Thats high praise. I watch Tudors beginning to end every couple years or so. Such a beautifully shot series

George had the best soap opera villain facial expressions. That actor could've gone without lines and given a great performance.

my wife loved it, I tolerated it.
Got tired of Ross making one bad fricking decision after another. They guy is a complete dumbass.

I couldn't not notice, but yeah, she's still a babe. I'm still early on in S1, so I'll keep an eye out to when she fills out more.

The people of Cornwall are ornery because they have all those beaches and no swimwear.
