I'm 34 and I've never seen any of it. I'm an arsehole but that has nothing to do with it, I'm just not into the Sci-Fi genre.

I saw the original three and loved them. Saw the first prequel. Haven't seen any of them past that one.

Anyone who was around when the first three came out, and never saw any of them may have issues. If they are younger, I can understand their hesitance to watch the old movies.

The worst boss I ever had thought (and I'm not kidding on this) the following:

-Star Wars movies are boring

-Amy Schumer movies are funnier than anything else ever made

How about not caring for syfy at all....crap that actually couldn't happen.

Dramas, comedy and action are typically what I watch.

If you grew up in the 90's - after Star Wars fever had died out, I can see it as plausible...and when the prequels hit, thinking...well what's the point...I never saw the originals.

But if you grew up in the 70's and 80's - you have no excuse. You would have had to ACTIVELY avoid Star Wars as some type of protest against mob mentality.

Saw the originals and almost all of the new ones. I can live without it. I get a bigger reaction when I tell people I haven't seen any of The Lord of The Rings.

I’ve seen them all except rogue one. People are shocked when I tell them I’ve never seen a Harry Potter movie.

I’ve seen two of them. I’m not a huge fan but I can see why people love them. The fantasy sci fi genre isn’t really my thing

I hadn't really watched the original 3 in their entirety straight through until about 4 years ago when I was 32. I'd seen huge clumps of them out of order throughout my life. I've now watched them about a half dozen times with my 5 year old.

Honestly it was kind of cool to experience them later with him.

There's a whole other subset of a-hole who refuses to watch anything after ROTJ since it's no longer canon with some fricking book trilogy or role playing game someone else created 22 years ago. Those people may be worse.

The first three movies were made before I was born but I had opportunity to see each one and loved them. They were perfect IMHO. Then, at the age of eleven, I went to the theater to see The Phantom Menace and since then I've never had a need or desire to see any that followed.

I probably watched a couple back in the 80s when I was a kid, don't remember.

Where should I start if I was going to give it a run?

Order of release or chronological order?

Sorry for being an a-hole.

Also, have never seen a Harry Potter movie or a full episode of Game of Thrones or Walking Dead.

They're the same douchebags who always said the only TV they watched was The History Channel. That doesn't work anymore, so they moved on to denying Star Wars.
