For me it’s the Sam and Frodo parts in the Lord of the Rings. The first few times watching I wanted to see those parts to fully understand the story. Now that I’ve seen them multiple times and read the books I fast forward through the boring arse conversations they have while on the verge of tears.

That scene in wolf of wall street where Margot Robie opens her legs. That's someone's daughter.

The news crews fight scene in Anchorman. It just goes on way too long.

Dream sequence in Big Lebowski.

I watch every single time just in case Sam finally gets the courage to slip it in

Yeah these were tiresome. As a general rule I hate dream sequences and drug/hallucination scenes. Tiresome.

Pulp Fiction's opening credits are 2 minutes long.

And as much as I love Lawrence of Arabia, its opening Overture is almost 5 minutes long.

The music is in the movie, so I just skip sitting there staring at a black screen.

Give me cold opens like Scream...if I care about who's in the movie that I didn't recognize, I can stay for the end credits.

Considering the importance of psychological health in this series, the dream sequences are very important.

That wasn’t OP’s question. I watched them the first time.

When I read the thread title, I click to immediately respond that I FF through all the Frodo/Sam/Gollum parts, glad I’m not the only one. It’s so boring. And I hate the constant whining and screeching from them. The rest of the movie is great to watch w/o those parts

The span between the second and third sex scene in the XXX film Pirates. Its just way to long, and Mrs. Drebin starts to cool off if we don't get to that next seen in a timely manner.

Pic of wife because of rules and stuff.

Would be a great long movie if this were done to all three then stitched.

When you get as old as I am, 62, you do fast forward thru the full nudity sex scenes. Three fourths of them seem unnecessary in TV series like Game of Thrones and Outlander.

quote:

That's someone's daughter.
This is literally part of why I no longer seek out nudity in movies and TV. The first time I visited my niece, when she was a freshman at Tulane, changed me. She introduced me to a few hot girls. I saw them as her friends, and I guess I started paying attention to what they said, instead of just undressing them in my mind.

The next weekend I went a a Texas A&M football game with a Dallas buddy. He was pointing out hot girl, after hot girl. I couldn't look at them that way anymore. I was in my late 40's then.

The crazy thing is, up to that point, I'd always been the kind of guy who would set reminders to try to catch the first scene of Flight, to see the naked stewardess. Needless to say,
