What's the boards board's consensus on the best seasons? Currently on season 5 on my 1st watch of the series, but so far season's 3 and 4 are my favorite.

These were up there for me as well. I loved Tom’s Entertainment 720 story arc in season 4.

Seasons 3 and 4 were my favorite. Adding in Rob Lowe and Adam Scott were perfect for that show.

3,4 and 5 for me are awesome. I put those seasons on as background noise all the time.

The earlier ones imo when everyone was just fun

I'd agree except for Andy's character. I hated him in seasons 1 and 2. He's now one of my favorites.

I love the whole series now. When it came out, I watched a few episodes of season 1 and gave up. I think word got out that it was a good show by season 3 so I picked it up again. Ended up liking the characters enough that when I went back and watched season 1, I liked it.
They made Leslie a bit too goofy in season 1 whereas after that they made her uber competent. I watch the whole series a few times a year.

It was that Mark character that ruined season 1,imo. His character was a total bore and they, thankfully, wrote him out of the show.

3-5 are universal it seems.
Such a great show overall. Had some misses at times but it worked so well.

The first 2 seasons are the worst

The season Leslie is running for city council is the best.

Just got to season seven.
First watch. I like it better than the office.

Any episode with Councilman Jamm is the best episode

I tried but couldn’t get into first few episodes

Seasons 2-4 for me.
Season 2 had "Practice Date", "Kaboom", "Greg Pikitis", "Ron and Tammy", "Hunting Trip", "Christmas Scandal", "Sweetums", "Woman of the Year", "Park Safety", Summer Catalog", "The Master Plan", and "Freddie Spaghetti" which collectively represent the best essence of the show - the interplay of the characters and the zaniness of the town.
P&R was the rare sitcom where the characters all started off as caricatures and de-Flanderized into a boring, amorphous glob by the end.
Season 3 had the best arc of the show with the Harvest Festival and the best single episode in "The Fight".
Season 4 was just a strong all around season.
Season 5 was the beginning of the end of my enthusiasm for the show. Seasons 5-7 were the quality of just any other random sitcom.

This is a good post and makes me question my rankings above. I should have put season two before season five.

Finished it.
When people would say often in this board that Aubrey Plaza was hot, I would just think she's "ok". After her eyes, I can see why do many had her ranked highly.
JIMP eyes.

Uh, yeah. Season 1 is one of the worst. They didn't know what they were doing.
