My best friend as a kid had Showtime and we watched a lot of adult content at a very young age. Including various Friday of the 13th movies.

Just watching the original for 1st time and much more authentic than I remember the others being. Good scenes and characters for what it is. I bet a lot of guys got laid after taking dates to that movie with both feeling extra on edge during the act.

Well yeah the killer is a middle-aged woman, not some superhhuman freak.

Edit: Wait, was that a spoiler? It's only been 40 years.

This was the better movie to get laid.

The worst and best of the franchise was Friday the 13th A new beginning.

Because of former Playboy Bunny Debbie Sue Voorhees.

Now why would Jason kill kin?

This is the only safe for work shot of her in the movie

I liked violet more.

I loved Part 5, basically everyone introduced in the first act is a psychopath.

Always wondered how his trial went. Being there were no credible witnesses and all the murders that soon followed when he was in custody..dude was probably scarier than Jason

It really was. Plus it had the twins.

I liked Part IV and Part VI the best. Though the 2009 reboot wasn't too shabby either. It's a shame there never was a follow up to that film, I really enjoyed it.

The original slasher movies were meant to be more realistic in nature.

For some reason they all sorted very quick embraced an over the top, campy, almost downright comedic style at times.

At age 15 my friend and I just wanted to pick a movie to see some boobs. We settled on Friday the 13th because all the sequels had boobs. Well, turns out the original has no boobs. Just a good horror flick. Damn.

The reboot was great and had one of the most brutal kills in the series when Jason cooked the girl alive in her sleeping bag

I loved the death scene underneath the pier for more than one reason.

I like 1 for its originality factor with the way it handled its story. It was before my time so I never saw it in theaters.

2 in my opinion would have been terrifying. I liked the crude sack mask jason made, even though the moonlight murderer wore it better.

3 introduced the iconic hulking jason with the hockey mask and that shite got over cause it worked so well. NO ONE wiped their arse in this film either which adds to the lore.

4 was a solid watch and had multiple stories going at once which I enjoyed. Had some memorable scenes and could have used the baw looking for his sister better.

5 was stacked with enough psychos/sociopaths to steal Jason's heat..,tits, vulgarity and drugs. I was never big on Tommy Jarvis as a protagonist but I always felt he was the most believable in 5.

6 was full of satire and by this time was starting to embrace the humor that the genre was going. I didnt like it too much tbh

7 had Jason looking the most badass. Kane Hodder took that role and elevated it. I liked they went to more of a serious tone, but wished it wasn't basically carrie vs jason.

8 I hated it, liked the poster as a kid though.

9 was the first film I ever took a girl to see. Very hot girl from school, we lived close. We rose bikes to the theater I Was able to sneak her in. Was a horrible film but I have nostalgia attached.

10 was shite.

F v J Was good at the time cause it was so cool to see.
